Partnerships

In July 2014, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Texas A&M University, USA and the University of Ioannina (UOI), Greece. This MOU aims in fostering cooperation between the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and the Mechanics, Smart Sensors and NDE (MSS-NDE) Laboratory, Materials Science & Engineering Dept., UOI, in the areas of: (a) Mobility of faculty members and researchers; (b) Mobility for studies and research; (c) Submission of joint research proposals. The MOU was signed by Professor Katherine Banks (Vice Chancellor and Dean of Engineering, Texas A&M), Professor Triantafyllos Albanis (Rector, UOI), Professor Dimitris Lagoudas (Senior Associate Dean for Research, College of Engineering; Deputy Director, TEES; Assoc. Vice Chancellor for Engineering Research Aerospace Engineering, Texas A&M), and Professor Theodore Matikas (Director, MSS-NDE Laboratory, UOI).
